This cookbook is so much more than I ever dreamed of! Emily doesn't just given you recipe after recipe and then leave you to decide what goes with what. This cookbook is segmented into seasons! All 4 seasons come with main dishes, side dishes, breakfasts, sweets and smoothies which are compatible with what season it is. No more going to the store with your shopping list only to realize what you were going to make isn't in season (I am notorious for this).Another wonderful attribute to her cookbook is the fact that she lists out the serving sizes along with the fat, carb and protein content for EVERY single recipe. This is so helpful and important especially for someone like me who is still learning how to manage a meal plan and this makes my meal choices easy as pie!With over 100 recipes packed into this wonderful little cookbook, and an image for each recipe, I am positive it is worth the buy for anyone looking for something yummy to whip up in the kitchen!

So much more than your basic cookbook. This has awesome, tasty, enticing and most importantly HEALTHY alternatives to some of your most favorite dishes. I love that there are pictures for every single recipe and that they are sorted by season. Making it not only somewhat more festive, but making ingredients more readily available being they are in season. This is a starting point to living a clean, healthy lifestyle with recipes that you are familiar with, and will enjoy and reap the benefits from. For a debut cookbook, I feel Emily hit the nail on the head giving those of us looking for healthy alternatives, a great collection of delicious and nutrition dining options. You won't be disappointed!

The title doesn't fit the recipes. It might be my decades of cooking and baking learned during my upbringing as an Indiana farm girl, but I was disappointed, sort of, in some of the recipes. The one I tried had way too much seasoning and was spicy hot, a little too much for us. I went through them all, and I decided I would make adjustments to most of them that looked like we might want to try, mostly in the seasoning department. It might be just the cookbook for others, but it's really not a "farmhouse" book.

Great cookbook. We just received it yesterday, and are already planning out our meals from it. All of the recipes look fairly simple and easy to follow. The best part is that all of the ingredients are things most people (if they do much cooking at all) will already have in their kitchen. Most of the recipes that we looked at last night, we could have just walked in to the kitchen and cooked! Definitely pleased with it and excited to start trying it out. I'm really excited to try the baked General Tso's Chicken!

As an inexperienced and an extremely impatient cook, I rarely buy recipe books because I know I most likely won't crack them open. But, I started following Emily on social media and listening to her advice on health, well being, working out, and life in general. She's real and tells it like it is but with a huge heart and this girl does her homework. She grew up on a farm and has studied food like most have not. What I really love: is that she breaks these recipes down for people like me so even I can do them! And sometimes super fast! She understands our busy lives. She's slammed busy herself, but she makes time for healthy eating out of some of our favorite comfort foods. AWESOME job Emily! Can't wait for the next one.

all the recipes are great, my boyfriend is a meat lover and I convinced him to try some clean eating with me. The meals are so filling for being minimal compared to my normal cooking.

I have been waiting to get my hands on this cookbook for months!!! It is so much better than I could have ever imagined!!❤️ It is a full color cookbook with a picture for every recipe!

very good cookbook and easy recipes. The Cajun Turkey Burgers are OUSTANDING and my whole family loved them. they will be a once per week meal at my house. I love that the macro's are added to each recipe. If you are going to make any of the desserts, you will have to purchase the protein powder listed in the ingredients for "some" of the recipes. You can use what you have in "some" of the recipes. I lost 6 lbs in one week and I work out 4 times per week (boxing and kickboxing at Title Boxing Club).
