I love this book. I'm always looking for books with diverse characters to add to my 2 year old's library, and this is the latest one I've gotten. It's a story about a little girl who reads books with her dad and acts out the stories the next day. It's very sweet and cute, and the lines are short so it holds my daughter's attention. The story has nothing to do with race, but I really like that the main character is diverse. I'd recommend this book to everyone.
Anna McQuinn does a great job writing kids books. They are colorful, cute stories and keep your children engaged. Also, it’s very nice to read books to your children that have characters that resemble your children.
I am an informal "aunt" to an immigrant family where everyone is learning English, including the young child. Helping the parents read to their child is important to me. This is a very useful and sweet book.

I regularly search for books that display diversity and are also are fun to read. It's not always an easy combination to find. Thankfully this is one of those great books.
My daughter's favorite book since age 2. Helps her use her imagination when reading other books! I've given this book as a gift twice, its so fun to read and the pictures are cute.I like how Lola is not white but that's not the topic of the book.

I love this story! My kids and I really enjoy spending time together visiting the library and reading our library books afterward, so we all could relate to Lola and her parents. The story moves along quickly, and the illustrations are cheerful and bright. Overall, this has become one of our favorites to read!
