This is the third book in the series by Piccioni on quantum mechanics. The books in this series a reasonable introductions to concepts in physics and lay out the introduction of the concepts in ways that gave insight to a non-physicist. I found the series helpful in giving the introductory frame work with a enough rigor that I felt I had more understanding than from other lay person books. The approaches used are somewhat different and many times helpful in the unique perspectives used. However often major elements are left out in these simplified explanations and these absences also have an impact of leading to somewhat superficial understanding. Over all I would definitely recommend the series as an introduction but beware it is only an introduction - thus the strengths and liabilities balance to a 4 start rating (thats a buy it for me). I also warn though each booklet seems inexpensive the total starts to add up to an appreciable sum and you won't understand quantum mechanics with just the first volume.
Short but very informative introduction to aspects of Quantum Mechanics. Just enough Math to give the Non-Physicists a taste of the details of how things work.

Great simply to the point intro from the basics but with math. Cheap but better than many expensive ones or textbooks.
I thought I was buying a book, not a pamphlet.
