Why the whole troll-spiel when all the trolls (NPCs) act, talk and hold the same morals as humans?This feels more like a story about racism than LiTRPG story about having to play a troll. If you are thinking about this book due to liking monster books don't bother.
I enjoyed this story. It is an uncomplicated straightforward tale . The ending was a natural stopping point ( thankfully not a cliffhanger, I hate those ) but did set up a sequel. I look forward to the next one .
Liked the story line and flow of the book.Very well written and received a great rating from Ramon’s podcast.My only comment is that twice in combat a buff/water around the head happened but the writer did not clearly state when it expired, making it difficult to visualize

A well crafted- Well written story- the way I judge any story I’m reading is when I realize I have been for a period of time transported into the story. This only occurs when there is a good back story, real characters who evolve and interesting plot lines. Thanks for ride, hope the story continues.
If you have ever seen Demolition Man with Sly Stallone, then you get the concept of this book pretty quick. The main character must serve his jail time in a rehabilitative game. The story is really good, the only problem is how fast the main character is rehabilitated. It feels as if he is good by the end of the first chapter. From there it is all about a guy who is in a VR system and finally finds acceptance.
I can't say that I really like this one. It was alright but it really didn't hold my attention. I found my self skipping hole chapters just to find a more interesting one . The concept was great the build okay. Not sure why I didn't like it
